It is the time of the year when Anzac’s start travelling. Young Australians are everywhere, happy faces for weeks in the West Indies were rewarded with an Australian cricket world cup victory, in the dark and faded light.  Of course the growing numbers that attend the Anzac day parades. We had some of our family, spectators at the parade in Sydney.  Tahni had his “great grandfathers” decorative medals and was very proud. Beth’s grandfather had a brother who was killed in Gallipoli. All this was found in a newspaper report March 31 1930, The report, an obituary of Beths Great Grandfather it will be posted.  1930 four years before IVAN was born.

Travel time for many of our friends, our Petite Maison in London has been well booked and used. It is a haven in London.

Our plan briefly, is depart via Toyko (mid May), a week in the flat then travel up in Bluey ( motor home) to Newcastle across to Bergen and focus our free wheeling in Scandinavia, the Baltic region, Northern Germany, Holland, Paris then back to London mid July. We return via New York and back to Sydney early August.

One of the pleasures of motor home travel is the lack of a need to book ahead, same bed every night and self-catering.
